Meet the Hamilton West office

More than 90% of seniors want to be able to age in their own home with dignity but getting the right type of care can seem daunting.  At Senior Helpers of Hamilton West we believe that getting the best care for your loved ones should not be complicated.  We recognize the growing need for in-home care services, and with our passion for helping others, we are committed to delivering the best possible care to seniors in the Dundas community. 

We take the opportunity to provide care in your home seriously and make it a priority to provide the highest level of client service possible.  We have built an exceptional team of care professionals, each committed to remaining at the forefront of the in-home care industry through our proprietary ongoing training and education programs. Our History

Senior Helpers of Hamilton West is proudly owned and operated by Edward and Natasha Quinlan, who also own and operate Senior Helpers of Northumberland. Their journey in senior care began in 2010, when Edward’s mother needed in-home care and the right support simply wasn’t available locally. That experience left a lasting mark and inspired the Quinlans to make sure other families wouldn’t face the same challenges alone.

After seeing the difference compassionate in-home care makes for families in Northumberland, Edward and Natasha were eager to bring that same commitment to Dundas and the surrounding Hamilton West community. With Edward’s determination to make a difference and Natasha’s lifelong passion for caregiving, expanding to Hamilton West was a natural next step.

Together, the Quinlans are dedicated to delivering high-quality, personalized care that helps seniors remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. Their work is guided by family values and a sincere desire to support others through life’s most important moments.

The first step in the process is a complimentary, initial in-home care assessment with a Senior Helpers consultant.  This assessment can help you understand the true needs of your loved one, and your options. Together we can discuss their needs, our senior care services and determine what’s best for your entire family.

We will cover:

  • Your loved one's daily plan design and schedule
  • Pricing and payment methods
  •  Implementation process
  • Ongoing communication and follow-up plan

Edward Quinlan

For Edward Quinlan, owning Senior Helpers is more than a business. It is a personal mission rooted in love, loss, and a desire to serve. In 2010, Edward’s mother needed compassionate in-home care that wasn’t available in their area, and the absence of those essential services left a lasting impact. That experience led him to open Senior Helpers of Northumberland, and it continues to guide everything he does.

Now, as the owner of both Senior Helpers of Northumberland and Senior Helpers of Hamilton West, Edward is excited to extend that mission to families in Dundas and the surrounding communities. His goal remains simple yet powerful: to provide dependable, professional care that empowers seniors to age in place with dignity, independence, and the right support at the right time.

What excites Edward most about this next chapter is the chance to walk alongside new families and communities. He understands how overwhelming it can feel to care for an aging loved one without proper support, and he is committed to making sure families in Hamilton West have access to the kind of compassionate care his own family needed years ago.

Beyond his professional role, Edward is a proud husband, father, and grandfather. He and his wife of 21 years, Natasha, have raised two wonderful children, Kelly and Tyler, and now delight in spending time with their grandson, Haiden. Their home is lively and full of love, shared with three dogs and two cats who bring joy, companionship, and the occasional bit of mischief.

Edward is also deeply engaged in his community. He currently serves as President of Baseball Ontario, helping guide the next generation of athletes, and as Treasurer on his local School Council. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, and exploring new places with his family.

Through every facet of his life, from caregiving to coaching to community service, Edward lives by a single principle: caring for others matters. Through Senior Helpers of Hamilton West, he is proud to put that belief into action every day.

Natasha Quinlan

Caring for others has always been second nature to Natasha Quinlan. From a young age, she felt drawn to a life of service and originally pursued a career in nursing. Though family commitments led her to pause that path, her desire to make a meaningful impact never faded. It simply evolved. Today, as co-owner of Senior Helpers of Hamilton West and Senior Helpers of Northumberland, Natasha is living out that lifelong passion on a broader scale.

Senior Helpers gives Natasha the opportunity to provide the kind of personal, dignified care she always envisioned: care rooted in compassion, empathy, and respect. What fulfills her most is helping families navigate aging and caregiving with confidence and heart. Every interaction is a chance to make someone feel supported, seen, and truly cared for.

Natasha believes deeply in showing up for people when they need it most. With the addition of Hamilton West, she is proud to offer even more families the dependable care she would want for her own loved ones, because she knows how much that trust means.

At home, Natasha finds joy in the simple things: working in her garden, traveling to new places, and spending time with her family. She and Edward have built a full and joyful life over their 21-year marriage, raising two wonderful children, Kelly and Tyler. Now, they cherish their role as grandparents to their grandson, Haiden, her greatest source of inspiration and happiness. Their home is also lovingly shared with three dogs and two cats, who keep things lively and remind Natasha every day of the importance of unconditional care.

With an open heart for those she serves, Natasha is excited to welcome the Hamilton West community and help families find peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are in good hands.

I want to take this opportunity to express our thanks for the superb work Diane did for Dad while he was in the hospital. She was punctual, personable, and dedicated. She helped my Dad immensely during a difficult time for him. Her calm manner and brilliant smile worked magic. My Dad’s attitude changed completely for the better after her first visit. Thank you so much for giving us Diane. She really is a remarkable person and very caring.
